English speaking donors are warmly welcome to donate blood in Uppsala on Mondays from 12:30 pm. Please book your appointment by calling 018-611 41 00. Your call will be received by a Swedish voice message, press 1 to reach the blood center.
Our phone hours are:
Mondays and Thursdays: 11.00am-02.30pm, 03.30-07.00pm
Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 07.30-11.00 am, 12.00-03.30pm.

To become a blood donor
· You must be between 18 and 60 years old.
· You must weigh at least 50 kg.
· You must be healthy.
· You must have a valid Swedish identity document with a Swedish personal identity number.
Note that if you were born in an area with malaria and/or frequently travel to areas with malaria it might be difficult to be a blood donor. Consult the staff for more information.
